About this piece: My layered fabric art is purely authentic using original techniques to create lasting, visually inspiring pieces. Living through the day and age of when Mother said "go outside and play" meant that we would be exploring nature until mealtime. The wonders of nature were my main focus, then and still remains in my heart, today. Making wishes on dandelion seeds sailing on the wind. Delighting in maple seeds spinning down to be grounded.. And, as I write, I sip on a cup of rose-hip tea made from the antique rose shrubs that grow wild on our "back ten". This "Study of a Rose" pays tribute to our wonderful natural world.

Where they find inspiration: I find inspiration in photography which has captured moments of whimsy in animals, people, and places. Zooming into the essence of the subject, or a tiny, unexpected, detail that delights the audience is the gift that I find joy in sharing.
